I have been working for quite many years now and remember when I was just starting out. The “older generation was giving me a hard time, because “They built the country after the war!”
For that reason we should just fall in line and do what we were told. As we all now know the history, the computers became something everybody had in the house, and Generation X suddenly had a massive advantage over the Boomers. We were interested in learning and to put down the time to understand this new wonder that came to revolutionise the working day for everyone.
I have just recently heard the comment that Millennials are “expecting a trophy just to come to work” and “they have no work ethics”, just to mention a few.

But here comes the fun part.
Why are we trying to do the same as our parents? Why haven’t we learned to be better?

What can we learn from Millennials?

Well, how about understanding of your fellow man? How about acceptance of your neighbour unconditionally?

We must remember that Millennials are going to lead us into the future. Give them a strong foundation to do so, so your grandchildren have a chance for greatness!
